Head of the Startup Programme Smart-Up and the Master Programme Business Development and Promotion, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts
Since twelve years, René Zeier is contributing to the further development of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in several leadership roles. Before he managed his own consulting company with ten employees during six years; he supported multinational corporates in global customer management. He practiced marketing and sales during nine years while working for Nestlé, Novartis and Coca-Cola in management functions. Today he is also a member of the board of the mid-size Swiss Brewery Falken, president of a ski school, vice-president of the Züri-Fäscht and president of the foundation Valea Lupului, supporting an orphanage in Romania.

She is a passionate advocate for women in leadership and has over 17 years of experience across over 60 countries. In 2014, she was chosen and featured as one of the 50 most influential next generation leaders who will likely define the future of the hospitality industry by Swiss Economic magazine Bilan. She is a regular speaker, moderator and presenter at Tourism Summits and has interviewed heads of state, tourism ministers and CEO’s globally. Aradhana has an MBA from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and also read at the Cornell University in New York. She guest-lectures on Tourism and Entrepreneurship at different Universities.

Paul Steele is a recognized advocate for the travel and tourism sector and an expert in international relations and sustainable business. He spearheaded the development of the aviation sector’s pathway to a sustainable future and the adoption of global CO2 reduction targets. He was holding numerous leading positions with over 20 years of management experience in multinational corporates and associations such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Hilton Hotel Group or Pepsi Cola International. On top of being engaged in NGOs as the COO of WWF International.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and a diploma in Industrial Studies, as well as being a former faculty member of the Business and Environment Programme run by Cambridge University.
